Every year, over 7 million children fly as unaccompanied minors in the United States. We're building the technology to make every one of those journeys safer and simpler.
The Problem We're Solving
Booking a flight for an unaccompanied minor is broken. Each airline has different age requirements, connection rules, approved hub airports, and fee structures. Parents spend hours cross-referencing PDFs and FAQ pages — only to get rejected at booking because they missed a rule buried in paragraph 47.
The cost of getting it wrong? A stranded child, a missed custody exchange, a canceled trip. These aren't edge cases — they're everyday occurrences that shouldn't happen in 2026.
Our Solution
KidAero is the first flight search engine purpose-built for unaccompanied minor travel. We've reverse-engineered the UM policies of every major US airline and built a validation engine that checks every flight, every connection, every layover against the rules before you see it.

Why Now?
The unaccompanied minor travel market is growing. Divorced families, grandparent visits, summer camps, boarding schools — kids are traveling solo more than ever. Yet the booking experience hasn't evolved since the 1990s.
We're changing that. KidAero is building the modern infrastructure layer for youth travel — starting with search, expanding into booking, tracking, and eventually a complete travel management platform for families.

UM policies change. Airlines update rules without warning. That's why we've built verification directly into our process. Every policy in our database is verified against official airline sources, and we display exactly when each policy was last confirmed.
We always recommend confirming details directly with the airline before booking. Our job is to get you 99% of the way there — the final confirmation is between you and the carrier.
The Team
KidAero was founded by parents who lived this problem. After one too many frustrating booking experiences and frantic calls to airline help desks, we decided to build the solution we wished existed.
We're a small team with big ambitions: make unaccompanied minor travel as simple as booking any other flight.
